Fishing Competition - Part 2, August 31
The final round of this year's Starling competition will take place on August 31.

The location is kept secret for participants until one week before. We will conclude the competition-event with dinner and a prize-giving cermony at Vimmerby Stadshotell.

Djursdala dagen, June 8
The Djursdala day on Lindstorp hill offered a bouncy castle, chocolate wheel, performance and food/coffee. We at Starlings organized fishing ponds for the little ones and also highlighted in a playful way what we can find in our lakes in addition to fish (plastic bags, canned goods, clothes and other rubbish) and what to do with this.
We also had a quiz for adults and children.

Bullerbydagen, Juni 5
For the third year in a row, Starling will be present at Bullerbydagen in the Norrgärdet residential area in Vimmerby. Bullerbydagen ia a collaborative project between Vimarhem, Vimmerby Municipality, and the tenant association in the residential area to highlight the good neighborly cooperation and cultural richness in the neighborhood. Of course, we'll be there to showcase our activities and encourage people go more outdoors.

Fishing Competition - Part 1, May 11
This year's Fishing Competition consists of two rounds.
Round 1 is scheduled for May 11, and we're pleased to announce that 38 people will participate this year. The competition location is still secret for participants.

2023 Events
Outdoormässa - Autumn, September 2
In 2023, on September 2, we organized an Outdoormässa at Källängsparken in Vimmerby. Despite days of rain, we were grateful for some sunshine during the day of the fair. The fair focused on animals, nature, and local experiences, featuring companies and associations from our area. A lively day with both lectures and demonstrations. With new and familiar faces as exhibitors. No entrance fee to the fair.

- Hultsfred Brukshundklubb have a demonstrations with their dogs in freestyle and rally at the show area

Starlings were invited to participate in Djursdala dagen at Lindstorpskullel. The Saturday offered lovely weather and lots of visitors. There were bouncy castles, rock climbing, face painting, and food and snacks. We at Starlings organized a fishing pond for children and also highlighted in a playful way what you can find in our lakes besides fish, for example plastic bags, cans, clothes and other garbage.

Bullerbydagen, June 1
Second time at Bullerbydagen. This year informed about our summer fishing school, fishing parties and our guided fishing tours. We also brought our bait box.
Starlings also celebrated 1-year, offering an extra hour on our half-day guiding fishing tour, if you book during the birthday week.

Upptäckarda'n, May 14
In May, We debuted at Upptäckarda'n. We had the boat in Lake Borstingen and offered a special price to try fishing with a guide in a Sport Fishing boat. We also had our experience vouchers for sale, information about our activities, and the bait box with us. For the competition at Upptäckarda'n we also sponsored with one spot for Summer fishing for kids.
Easter Fishing Competition, April 7
On Långfredane, we hung out at Vimmerby Camping and had a couple of competitions in fishing. It was a really cold day, so the fish didn't want to bite. Everyone who participated received a gift and one of the days winners got a bait from Southstream and the other winner, Ivar, won a Guided fishing tour for 3 people in a Sports Fishing boat.

Starlings Höstmässa in Källängsparken 24/9 2022
Starlings organized a Höstmässa at Källängsparken in Vimmerbyon September 24, at 10.00 - 15.00. The purpose was to make things happen in our local area and highlight locals within the outdoor theme. It was a packed program with sales, demonstrations, try-outs and other activities for the whole family.
It was a delightful mix of entrepreneurs and associations in the area of HUNTING & FISHING, LOCAL PRODUCE and ANIMALS & NATURE. We estimate that, up to 1500-2000 people visited the fair. Great to see you all there.
